FGH Controls has been in the business of manufacturing control systems for twenty eight years, and therefore has unrivalled knowledge and experience in measuring and controlling temperature. Pioneers of the advanced energy and time saving Thermal Head Ratio technique, FGH has been cutting costs and improving quality for its customers by controlling industrial process temperatures where others could not.

Today, FGH has two operating divisions, both based at its headquarters in Letchworth, Hertfordshire in England. The manufacturing company is a volume producer of high-performance self contained temperature controllers/profilers and associated products such as HMI/MMI software (a field which has proved to be very successful with FGH's own software package, Data Manager) and calibrators.

The other division is a systems integration operation designing and installing bespoke industrial plant and machine control systems, with special emphasis on temperature related processes. FGH has recently introduced a new SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) and Database package which incorporate the much acclaimed ICU. This new product has been developed to simplify furnace and temperature surveys, & is known as Survey Master.

As well as these new areas that FGH have explored and conquered, their range of highly sought-after Temperature controllers such as the Proteus 1000, 2000 & 3000 series are produced due to their success in the field. The Ezecal range of Calibrators are well known in the temperature-related industry, and the MK3,MK4 & MK5 are very much in demand.

Many suppliers of related goods expect you to know exactly what you want from a control and information system at the start. We recognise that requirements evolve as experience grows. After an initial discussion of your needs, we provide a costed proposal based on two or even three phases. First we install the most suitable standard packages and carry out a basic configuration to perform the key tasks. After a period of use, ideas will start to emerge from many areas of your organisation. Operators may want different screens and controls, QA may want more measurements and perhaps some calculations performed automatically, process technologists may see opportunities for increased output by improving plant utilisation. That's when we meet with representatives from all parts of your company to draw up the second phase of the specification and really start to customise your system.
