The alarm detection system (if activated) runs in the background. The detection window will pop-up when an alarm is detected to notify the user. These alarms can be sorted and filtered as required.
The annunciator panel is a representation of a traditional alarm annunciator. It consists of a matrix of engraved alarm panes which light up and flash if an alarm condition is detected.

No action required. Useful if
language only is attached to the buttons up/down action.
Load a drawing
Loads the requested drawing. All
currently open drawings will be closed first.
Load a chart
Loads the requested chart as a
popup window.
Send a value
Sends a value to the specified tag.
Recipe no.1 control panel
Loads the no.1 control panel for
exporting and saving recipe.
Function Key
This option allows one of the
function keys to simulate the button being pressed by the left mouse
button. The shift key can also be applied to the function key to
provide more combinations.
Charts can be embedded into a Data Manager Drawing or set to be stand-alone windows. Charts are used as a convenient means of displaying plant data in graphical form. They behave in a similar manner to a mechanical recorder and paper. The chart may be used to display historical recorded data (historical chart) or real time plant data (trend chart).
The logger is the interface mechanism between Data Manager and its data sources. This image shows the data logger interface menu control.
The event log displays Data Manager messages to the user. They are also a way to see what has happen historically. Each message is proceeded by the time and date it occurred. The event log files are stored on a day to day basis and as such only the current days messages are displayed in the window. In addition, any displayed event log can be printed.
These Virtual Keyboards are used to enter text and values into Data Manager when no keyboard is present. Such an a case would exists when useing a touch screen for instance.
Recipes are mainly used as a means to send profile data to instruments via the comms. Although recipes in general can be used for many other tasks such as, screen configuration, permanent data storage etc.
